| Dr. Apolito named by Shore Heart Group |
 May 24, 2007. The Appointment of Renato Apolito, M.D. to the medical staff of Shore Heart Group was announced today by Richard Adelson, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I., Medical Director. "The addition of Dr. Apolito represents another key step by Shore Heart Group ensuring the availability of World Class Cardiovascular Care right here on the Jersey Shore," said Dr. Adelson.
Dr. Apolito has been awarded membership in Phi Beta Kappa National Honors Society, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical National Honors Society, and Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (New Jersey Medical School). He then trained in Internal Medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, and completed fellowships in both General and Interventional Cardiology at New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Apolito has a focused interest in Peripheral Arterial Disease and Intervention; Coronary Intervention; Clinical Cardiology; and Preventive Cardiology. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
